First graders make "brain surgery look easy!"

First graders participated in learning about their senses through labeling where the brain receives the information through the receptors.  To make the experience even more challenging, students had to dissect the brain to find clues to "whose brain is it anyway"?  Some of the clues were a lightbulb, a key, a lantern, a telephone,  a nurses cap and a kite.  (of course they were all miniature items)  This week, we will use these clues and research material to identify what famous people may have occupied this brain!  Although the pictures may look slightly unpleasant, it is really just a jello brain!  No, I did not let anyone eat it!  :)
