The Green Thumbs and I went on a field trip on Friday afternoon to deliver a request for a donation of seedlings. We arrived at the Plant Haus thinking we would leave our letter with someone at the counter in hopes for a future response. (The girls are well aware as we all are these are tough times!) Well, we were greeted by Trena Cullins, she asked the girls a few questions and told them to grab a wagon and get what we needed! What a really an amazing response! To see the girls excitement and delight was worth a million! We went through the vegetable seedling isles and picked out a variety of goodies. The girls also choose to put some color in the garden which (which according to my sources) is a great idea because the marigolds are a good insect deterrent! With only an hour and a half to spare and on a Friday-we returned to school, made a quick plan and planted! I am attaching some of the pictures! Thank you so much Plant Haus!!!
